EAG confirm details of sponsorship opportunities on show app

The organising team behind EAG has announced further details of the dedicated show app that’s being launched next month including commercial opportunities for exhibitors to place their brand in front of buyers before, during and even after the landmark out of home entertainment expo.
Developed by events app specialists Sitka whose apps have been downloaded by more than 420,000 visitors, the digital event companion contains everything that attendees need to know in order to optimise their at-show experience including exhibitor and product directories, a personalised events schedule, dynamic information updates as well as an interactive show floor plan.
In addition to providing a standard package which is free to all exhibitors and comprises a company profile, logo, stand ID, map listing, two product listings and appointment scheduling for one user, EAG has created sponsorship packages which deliver enhanced functionality and branding.
The EAG Advanced Package which is available for £249 includes all of the standard features plus an enhanced company profile, an image gallery with video functionality, media, website and social links, full contact details and team information, five product listings, the opportunity to feature one offer as well as appointment scheduling for three users.
EAG’s Pro Package also provides the facility for unlimited product and offer listings, appointment scheduling for an unlimited number of users, enhanced branding with the company logo presented on the show map and featured exhibitor and product listing. The cost of the Pro Package is £499.
EAG Exhibition Support executive Phil Gibbs confirmed: “The app which has been developed in response to requests from exhibitors, will be launched in September. It will be available for both Apple and Android devices — and best of all, it works offline, ensuring uninterrupted access even inside busy exhibition halls.”
He added: “A number of exhibitors have already declared an interest in these and other sponsorship opportunities as a way of maximising their Return On Opportunity at what is the most important industry business event of the year.
“The days of engaging with buyers a couple of weeks ahead of the show opening are long gone. The app provides the opportunity to open a dialogue with operators, some four months ahead of the three co-located shows opening at ExCeL London.”
