EAG launch ‘A Quick Chat With..’

To celebrate the unique status of EAG Expo as the UK business event where operators, games creators and entrepreneurs meet to talk about the year ahead,show organisers have launched the ‘A Quick Chat with…’ series of interviews featuring industry leaders.

‘A Quick Chat With…’ will run each week and will explore the inspirations, reflections, ambitions, idiosyncrasies and personal insights of some of the UK industry’s best-known personalities.

Leading figures including Anne Ackord (The Brighton Pier Group), Paul Hyman (Luxury Leisure), Mark Jepp (Game Nation), Mike Clokie (E-Service), Quentin Stott (Reflex Gaming), Sascha Blodau (MERKUR UK), Rob Wheeler (RBW Systems), Nick Rudd (The Rudd Group), William Bollom (The Bollom Organisation) and Andrew Ludlow (Boomerang Digital) have opened up to discuss topics including their first job, how they manage stress, what success looks like, what they want to achieve at EAG 2026 and what they would like to change about the industry and how it’s perceived.

Introducing the editorial feature EAG Chairman Nick Harding said: “First of all I’m delighted that so many industry leaders are participating in our ‘A Quick Chat with..’ interviews. 

“The feature is a different way of highlighting the crucial importance of EAG as the place where the industry comes together to talk and chat about the business. Many of the big conversations of the year take place at EAG making it the most important exhibition for all sectors of our industry.”

He added: “The ability to sit down and meet face-to-face is a crucial part of business and explains why live events such as EAG Expo, remain so important to buyers and suppliers alike.”

The EAG team is focussed on achieving a fourth consecutive year of growth. Since 2022, visitor numbers have risen by 69 percent, with the 2025 edition welcoming 4,306 unique attendees—representing a 23 percent increase year on year. EAG Expo 2025 attracted representatives from 1,973 businesses, with 14 percent of visitors traveling from outside the UK to attend the London shows.
