Martin Burlin: “Could this be the most important EAG for a generation?”

Martin Burlin, Chairman of EAG Expo has reiterated his belief that January’s show will be among the most important in recent history as the industry responds to the opportunities arising from the Government’s White Paper on gambling reform.
He stated: “EAG’s ‘The Year Starts Here’ theme could not be more appropriate as the industry prepares for what many of our stakeholders believe will be a year of opportunity for the industry as manufacturers respond to the outcomes of the White Paper consultations.” Addressing November’s Bacta Convention the Minister for Gambling, the Rt. Hon Sturt Andrew MP reaffirmed the government’s commitment to publish its proposals by January 2024 with implementation scheduled to take place in the summer.
