Nick Rudd: “EAG delivers on many different levels and from our perspective it isn’t to be missed.”

The Rudd Group is amongst a growing number of progressive industry forces which will be using the forthcoming EAG (16th – 18th January, ExCeL London) to fulfil a range of strategic objectives many of which go beyond the opportunity to identify new product.

Managing Director Nick Rudd confirmed: “EAG is the one event of the year which brings all product sectors and representatives of the industry together in one place and as such it generates a whole range of opportunities to meet, and to sit-down with colleagues, customers and manufacturers in order to plan the year ahead.

“We use EAG for a number of different reasons and in a number of different ways which always makes the show very hectic but also extremely valuable to the business. Whilst we are in constant contact with the manufacturers and suppliers who we buy from, having them all in one place means that we can bring our customers onto each of their stands and debate strategies across a range of issues not least new product roll-outs, the applications of new technology and of course responses to the White Paper.  

“With all of the relevant parties together in one place decision-making is much quicker and having that crucial face-to-face time in a conducive environment helps to identify the most effective strategies for the rest of the year 

“We plan our presence in quite meticulous detail which also involves bringing Rudd Group office-based staff to ExCeL to allow them to experience the industry and see what the business is all about. It provides context to their roles and actually serves as a powerful motivational tool. Whilst product is obviously key for the vast majority of EAG visitors the show also delivers on many  different levels and from our perspective it isn’t to be missed.”

The 4,000+ operators expected to attend the 2024 edition will have the opportunity to access the industry’s very latest product launches and innovations, share insights and experiences with industry colleagues, keep up with developments impacting social responsibility courtesy of the Bacta Safer Gambling Hub, participate in Bacta’s new ‘thinkbite’ branded seminar programme which is packed with business-relevant content and insights, join Bacta’s 50th celebrations and mark industry excellence at the Bacta Annual Awards.
