Robobike 4D-motion motorbike platform to make world debut at EAG Expo
EAG’s status as the business event where brands choose to debut their latest games and most exciting tech has been put into sharp focus with confirmation that visitors to January’s flagship expo will be invited to stand J30 in order to experience the Robobike 4D-motion motorbike platform, designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK to racing-team quality.
Robobike is a genuine world-first for the social immersive leisure sector and is set to be a talking point of the exhibition courtesy of its adrenaline-fuelled ability to entertain. The platform combines high-fidelity motion, competitive gameplay appealing to a broad demographic and driving repeat play for operators.
According to Robobike CEO Simon Fox, the platform’s differentiation lies not just in the hardware, but in the ecosystem built around it. “What really sets Robobike apart is the competition and community,” Fox said. “Players don’t just ride; they compete in leagues, venue-versus-venue matchups and even participate in international tournaments, all supported by a player-driven global network. With quarterly game updates, the experience keeps evolving and keeps people coming back.”
The platform has been developed with operators firmly in mind. Robobike can be branded or white-labelled, creating opportunities for promotions, partnerships and future deployments beyond traditional leisure venues, and into the Competitive Socialising space.
“Add in our wider world, from storytelling and comics to conversations with elite Red Bull athletes like Sam Sunderland and Robobike becomes more than a machine,” Fox added. “It’s a shared experience, built to connect people, spark competition and make riding something you feel together, whether you’re a novice or an experienced rider.”
EAG will see the launch of three Robobike models, all connected through the same competitive platform. The CMX is designed for younger riders, the GPS delivers the full superbike experience for adults, and the AXS model enables riders of all abilities to participate.
“Crucially, they’re not separate experiences,” Fox explained. “Everyone can race together, at the same time, on the same track. Different riders, different bikes, one race. That shared, competitive format is the point, it’s social, fast-paced and built to bring people together.”
The decision to debut at EAG follows a successful public showcase of the GPS Adult Superbike simulator at the British Motor Show, where competitive play proved to be a major draw.
“We were blown away by how competitive people got,” said Fox. “Riders queued to beat each other’s times on the leader board and the energy was electric. That feedback inspired us to expand the range, creating the AXS and the CMX for younger riders both of which will be making their world debut at EAG.”
Looking ahead, Robobike’s objectives at EAG are focussed on building partnerships through direct supply, rental or shared-revenue models. “The main goal is to build long-term, fruitful commercial partnerships,” Fox concluded. “At the same time, we want to showcase the competitive edge of Robobike with leaderboards, racing together and the social buzz that creates. Success is giving venues and players something fun, exciting and evolving, with quarterly updates, national championships and experiences that keep people coming back, while creating partnerships that grow alongside it. EAG’s ability to attract the right operators, potential partners and industry thought leaders makes it the ideal platform to introduce Robobike to the broader out of home entertainment industry.”
With its emphasis on social competition, inclusivity and ongoing content updates, the Robobike debut is set to underline EAG Expo’s role as the stage to showcase next-generation leisure experiences.
