Robobike strengthens its team with the appointment of Martin Burlin as consultant ahead of EAG debut
Robobike the 4D-motion motorbike platform that will be making its industry debut on stand J30 at EAG Expo has confirmed the appointment of well-known industry personality Martin Burlin in a consultancy capacity. The appointment reflects Robobike’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence ahead of the most important leisure industry showcase of the year.
Announcing the appointment, Robobike founder Simon Fox said: “We are delighted to welcome Martin who as anyone involved in the leisure industry will know brings with him a wealth of experience, insight and contacts.
“Robobike is a progressive tech-led business and having someone with Martin’s in-depth knowledge of the leisure sector is a major advantage as we prepare for what is the most important business exhibition catering for the out of home entertainment sector. EAG Expo provides a fantastic platform to showcase what is a next-generation leisure experience that delivers high energy, fast-paced, authentic and competitive entertainment that brings people together and builds communities.”
Commenting on his new role, Martin Burlin highlighted both the technology powering Robobike and the broader proposition. “My relationship began when Simon and the team saw my LinkedIn profile which they felt met their needs to bring on-board someone who knew the leisure business. I met the team in Manchester and I was impressed with both their vision and their drive.
“The ride not only provides a fantastic experience for the player, but it’s backed by a support package created to encourage and foster competition. It is this total package that convinced me to join Robobike. The product fits perfectly into the Competitive Socialising space and will work in FECs, bowling venues and the burgeoning dedicated competitive socialising sector.”
Looking ahead to EAG, Burlin added: “Operators use EAG as a once-a-year opportunity to explore what they can add to their portfolio and strengthen their income streams. I believe that Robobike is one of those game-changing, genre defining games that can build player communities and really make a difference to the bottom-line.”
