UDC has announced it is to showcase the latest closed-loop pusher from Elaut at EAG, based on the globally-popular Belgian animated franchise The Smurfs.

The Smurfs! features the best known of the cartoon’s diminutive blue characters such as Papa Smurf and Smurfette, who invite players to join “the ultimate Smurf fortune quest.”

“Each player position features a large 27” monitor with interactive elements triggered during the game including a special skill stop ‘Smurf Your Fortune Wheeeel’ feature where players can win extra shots, tickets and cards,” said a UDC spokesperson.

“Players fire coins onto the pusher bed to be pushed over the edge, along with bonus cards, with ten different cards to be collected. Collect all ten and redeem them for a large number of tickets. In addition to the collectable cards, The Smurfs pusher also features instant win prizes in the form of ‘Smurfurines’ prize capsules with a figurine inside.”

The Smurfs was first unveiled by Elaut at IAAPA 2023 in Orlando, with popular gaming vlog Winner Every Time predicting the pusher “will be a game-changer in more ways than one! We can’t wait for next summer to see these games roll out to arcades.”
