UDC praised for championing EAG Expo on global stage

EAG Chairman Nick Harding has highlighted the ‘outstanding’ work undertaken by Mark Horwood and the team at UDC for their promotion of the EAG brand on the international stage.
The family owned distributor which was launched by Mark and father Derek in 1984 used its high profile presence at trade expos in locations including Dubai, Riyadh and Dublin to increase awareness of EAG Expo with the objective of helping to attract more international buyers to London in January 2026.
Outlining the benefits of the organiser/exhibitor collaboration Nick Harding said: “One of the stand-out characteristics of EAG Expo and its forerunner ATEI is the fact that the shows have always been ‘by the industry for the industry’ and undoubtedly the shared vision that we enjoy with our stakeholders is incredibly powerful.
“UDC has been a key exhibitor for over 40-years and when I met with Mark as part of EAG’s post-show engagement programme I was delighted to answer his request for marketing assets, leaflets and banners to promote EAG, SIE Expo and the London Casino and Gaming Show at the key international trade events that UDC was attending.”
He added: “The January 2025 edition of EAG Expo attracted 4,306 unique visitors to London a figure which represented a 23 percent year-on-year increase. Of that total 14 percent were international buyers and a fundamental part of the EAG business plan is to grow that figure significantly. The practical support shown by UDC in spreading the word and championing EAG on the world stage is deeply appreciated. Needless to say we would be delighted to hear from any other exhibitors with ideas on how we can work together and augment our marketing and communications campaign both in the UK and international markets.”
The 2025 edition of EAG Expo was the biggest on record occupying close to 5,000 square metres of space. In tandem with the physical growth, EAG attendance continued an upward trajectory which has seen numbers increase by 69 percent since 2022. 84 percent of those who attended EAG, SIE and LCG were defined as decision-makers with a total of 1,973 businesses represented at ExCeL London over the three days.
